Top 5 Tips for Disneyland Paris
Heading to Disneyland Paris soon? A Disney Park trip is always exciting, but it can definitely feel overwhelming with all the planning. Here are five simple tips to help you have a magical trip!
1. Plan Ahead & Download the Disneyland Paris App
Booking your hotel and tickets early is a great start—just make sure to buy your tickets in advance, as they’re not available at the gate! Also, be sure to download the official Disneyland Paris app before you go. It’s super handy for checking opening times, show schedules, and ride closures.
Disneyland Paris has some of the best entertainment in the world and you don’t want to miss it! Fireworks usually happen at park closing time, which can vary—so check the app for exact timings during your visit.
2. Bring Snacks & Queue Entertainment
Disneyland Paris is always busy—it’s a beloved destination for many! That means queues are part of the experience. Bring snacks and something to keep everyone entertained while waiting in line. You’re allowed to bring snacks into the park, and having a stash of snacks can save you from hangry moments (and save you a bit of money, too!)
3. Be Ready for All Weathers
The most common question I get on social media is about the weather. Honestly? It’s completely unpredictable. I’ve had snow and sunshine in the same week! No matter when you’re going, pack layers and bring a raincoat or poncho just in case. In winter, bring extra layers; in summer, don’t forget your suncream! And comfy shoes are a must—you’ll be walking a lot.
4. If You’re Staying in a Disney Hotel, Use the Magic Hour
Guests staying in on-site Disneyland Paris hotels can enter the park an hour early. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy some of the popular rides before the crowds arrive. Not everything will be open during this early hour, but there’s still plenty to make the most of! Again, check that app for opening times on your visit.
5. Plan Ahead—but Don’t Overdo It
It’s tempting to try and do everything in one day, but Disneyland Paris is best enjoyed at a relaxed pace. Have a rough idea of a few things you’d like to see or do, but don’t stress about ticking everything off. Leave room for breaks, snacks, and spontaneous fun! Some of the best memories are the ones you don’t plan.

Bonus Tip:
Take lots of photos, but don’t forget to be in the moment too. Enjoy the magic while it’s happening!
